I am so excited to announce I have begun writing my first children's book. This has been a dream of mine for many years and it is coming true.
Here is the premise for the story I am writing:
- Four boys between the ages of 8 and 10.
- Their names are Kaden, Darius, Tommy, and Colin
- Each kid has a different background.
- The boys meet online playing a video game.
- When it is time for school to start again, the boys are excited to find they are attending the same school.
- They also soon learn the social aspect of attending school is much harder than it is when playing video games.
Through trial and error, the boys slowly learn the ups and downs of making friends, sharing concerns, and encouraging each other in their face-to-face environment.
While I have not given this book a title yet, I have been fascinated with the story taking a life of its own. I have changed things consistently and I continue to get more excited.
